Pack 1993 Rocket Launch and Recruiting Event!
Get ready to reach for the stars with Cub Scout Pack 1993! We're hosting a special model rocket launch event for all our current scouts, as well as any boys and girls in Kindergarten - 5th grade interested in joining the adventure of Cub Scouting. Come enjoy an evening of fun and high-flying rockets!
Event Details
When: Saturday, September 6th, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Where: Smith Thompson Soccer Complex, Mansfield, TX
What to Bring:
1) Picnic Dinner: Families should bring a picnic dinner for themselves.
2). Rocket & Engines: Scouts should build and bring their own model rocket kit, along with engines. For safety, please do not bring any rockets larger than those designed for A or B size engines.
How to Get a Rocket Kit: You can find suitable model rocket kits at stores like Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and other local hobby shops.
What the Pack is Providing
The Pack is excited to unveil our new, custom-built launch platform, capable of launching multiple rockets at once! We will also have a limited number of small rocket kits and 1/2A engines on hand for any scouts or guests who do not have a rocket of their own to launch. We will also provide plenty of water and Gatorade to keep everyone hydrated.
This is a fantastic opportunity to see what Cub Scouts is all about. Bring your friends and let's launch some rockets!
