Home Education Sports & Engagement Therapy Session
Our Home Education Sports & Engagement Therapy Sessions are a great opportunity for you and your family to meet other home-educating families across Nottinghamshire.
Our sessions consist of 2 hours open space sporting activities, allowing you and your family the time to engage with one another through fun games, sports, crafts and much more. Activities include basketball, gymnastics, breakdancing, boxing, table tennis, badminton, hockey and various ball games – with interactive gaming coming soon!
The group is designed to support and welcome all family members and uses a flexible approach to each session to meet the needs of everyone who attends.
One of our Switch Up Coaches will be on hand to support your family with new and exciting skills, offering both 1-1, group, and family-led sports coaching.
The sessions focus on educating and encouraging family development through varying sports, games, crafts and plenty of fun.
We offer free hot and cold drinks, biscuits and fruit for your family to enjoy throughout the sessions and include access to the warm/quiet room connected to the hall most days, which offers you the opportunity to spend time together playing board or computer games.
We’re also excited to announce our upcoming Field Sports Day, being held on 30th August 11am-2pm, please ask a member of our staff for details.
Facilities include:
Toilets/showers/gym/boxing/dance/gymnastic classes from age 6+. Free girl’s group from age 10+. Room hire/Step Aerobics (coming soon!!!)
Regular Days & Times:
Fridays 12-2pm
Tuesdays 12-2pm (starting 20th August)
£2.50 per child
