Heritage Building Skills Demonstration and Participation

Heritage Open Days in Newark.

This year’s theme is Architecture, and in collaboration with Newark Civic Trust and the Nottinghamshire Buildings Preservation Trust, we are pleased to present a Heritage Building Skills Demonstration and Participation in the Market Place.

Throughout the day, a range of experts will demonstrate the specialist skills and techniques required to maintain and repair historic buildings, with opportunities for attendees to engage directly with some of these practices.

Our stall will be showcasing photographs, drawings, and models from projects we have carried out around the Market Place over many years. There will also be a ‘spot the difference’ challenge, designed to make the day engaging for all ages!

We look forward to welcoming visitors to an event that celebrates craftsmanship and the importance of protecting Newark’s architectural heritage.
