Gob (Canada) - The Vancouver band has been delivering only the finest in melodic punk rock since 1993. Europeans might know them for having members of By a Thread, Brand New Unit, or a little band called Sum 41, but these guys are legends in their own right. Summer 2025 marks what is actually their first trip to Europe, and most of the shows are larger festivals, where the band will play a short set on a high stage that's barely visible to the human eye. This show at JUZ Mannheim will be one of the few chances to catch them as headliners (with a proper longer set) in a small and intimate setting - the way punk rock was meant to be consumed. No barriers, low stage, high energy. Let's fucking go, eh?
Makewar (USA) - At this point, these Brooklyn punks need to introduction. They’ve toured Europe far and wide with their original brand of melodic punk over the past decade, grinding it out with their rambunctious live show and slowly building a following rivaling any of their peers. Come sweat it out with them and experience what everyone’s talking about.
EDLP (Netherlands) - Consider this a warning - this Dutch outfit is about to become your new favourite band. Emo/punk that delicately balances energy and fun with sensitivity and a bit of melancholy. This will be their first jaunt into Germany but certainly not the last. Be sure to show up early and get your face (and your heart) melted.
NOTE: JUZ Mannheim is a DIY venue that relies entirely on volunteers to operate their events. The venue has a limited capacity and we expect this event to sell out. Typically, most smaller shows are pay-at-the-door events on a sliding entrance fee. Because this event is one of the few club shows on both Gob and MakeWar's European tours, we know that people are likely to travel from around Germany, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, etc and space will become limited. To make sure these people do not travel only to discover the show has sold out, we are offering a presale ticket at the low cost of 19.81 euros, which includes the service fees and allows guaranteed entry without needing to lineup hours before at the venue. Tickets are will call - your name will be added to a list and you will need to provide valid ID at the door.
