Interwoven: Mission Link - Obstacle Adventure Experience

Special Operations Dads and their children are invited to summon their courage and step out of their comfort zone into an experience that requires patience, trust, and positive self-talk.

Connection is built one step at a time. This isn’t just an obstacle course; it’s an opportunity for Service Members and their children to grow stronger together, one challenge at a time. Inspired by the timeless wisdom in Chop Wood, Carry Water, this experience is about more than completing tasks. It is about being present, showing up fully, and choosing connection in the simple moments.

As you move through each challenge, which includes crawling, climbing, balancing, and laughing, you are practicing the very lessons that Chop Wood, Carry Water teaches:

• And that character is forged through everyday effort
  
  

Through this shared journey, we invite families to rediscover each other not through perfection but through participation. Every obstacle is a metaphor for the real-life terrain of parenting, service, and growing up strong.

You don’t have to be fast. You don’t have to be flawless. You just have to show up and move forward together.

There are four elements of the challenge course that you can choose to explore. You are welcome to do just one activity or challenge yourself with all four.

Wind Walker Challenge Course - The Wind Walker is a unique 3-story obstacle course balanced atop the edge of Williams Canyon, with a 600-foot drop. The Wind Walker Challenge Course will thrill you with its maze of steel beams, ropes, and ladders, and is guaranteed to be fun for all ages. 42” minimum height requirement. Must be 48” to ride alone, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bat-a-Pult - Bat-a-Pult is an epic, 1200-foot round-trip aerial attraction, high above the wild and beautiful Williams Canyon. The ride leaves from its roost high in the rafters of the Pavilion, launching you on an epic, 1,200-foot round-trip flight across Williams Canyon at speeds of nearly 40 mph. For little ones, you can experience the thrill with Dad right at your side! 42” minimum height requirement. Must be 48” to ride alone, and children between 42” and 48” must be accompanied by an adult.

Cliffhanger Climbing Wall - Take your time or race a friend to the top of our Cliffhanger Climbing Wall! The spectacular view from the top will be well worth the climb! Must be 42″ tall.

Geronimo’s Leap - Safely harnessed in, test your balance one step at a time when you rise to the top of Geronimo’s Leap! Once you reach the top, take a leap off the highest pillar, land smoothly on the ground, and try it again! Must be 42″ tall.

New to Interwoven events with The Station? Welcome! Please note that our OutStation Facilitator, Teah Fagins, will be in contact with you to share our mission and confirm your Special Operations Forces affiliation.

• Come dressed in comfortable clothes.
• Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
• Wear an outer layer. Anticipate much cooler weather in the mountain canyon.
• No experience is necessary.
• Snacks and drinks will be provided.

When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.

You will claim only one (1) ticket per family. You will be prompted to enter your child/children’s full name, age, and current height.

If you can no longer attend this event, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate another family on the waitlist.
