Introduction to Afro Brazillian Capoeira Angola. Movement, Music and Community
The African Brazilian martial art of Capoeira combines acrobatic movement,music, African cultural references and societal philosophies in an art form that enhances physical strength, flexibility, balance and agility. Training Capoeira also engenders musicality by learning to play traditional instruments while vocalizing lyrics in Portuguese. Promoting consciousness, self-awareness and personal development is inherent to this art form
