Third Thursday: "BE" Happy

This year, Downtown Manhattan is embracing the spirit of community with a focus on gathering, belonging, and mental wellness. Each Third Thursday invites our community to come together and celebrate through art, music, movement, and connection—all built around the theme of "BE."

May 15th "BE" Happy: Kick off the season with us with a joyful celebration of spring and family fun! This Third Thursday is packed with interactive activities designed to spark creativity and smiles:

📌 Brain Station at AJ’s Patio, sponsored by Wonder Workshop
📌 Sunset Zoo brings Bug Bingo & Arthropod Adventures
📌 Sidewalk chalk stations for kids (and kids at heart!)
📌 Cake Walk by Bourbon & Baker at 6:30 PM
📌 Interactive “paint-by-number” Monet-themed window murals
📌 Artist & Maker’s Faire from 5–8 PM
📌 and MORE...

This event is held outside from 5-8pm on the Third Thursday of each month from May through October. Each one is unique so be sure to join us every month!

There are a few great ways to participate in making Third Thursdays amazing community events.

Are you a volunteer?

Are you a Maker, Artist, Entertainer, or Vendor?
Apply here to sell your artwork, play music in the street, or share an artistic activity with the community. There is a $25 charge per event to reserve a spot or $130 for the season.
