Son Montuno with Carlos! - Monday, April 28th @ 8:30pm

📆 On Monday, April 28th, come join us for the latest installment of our son montuno classes!

😂 This week, you'll have the pleasure of learning from Carlos Mateu--teacher, dancer, poet, painter--and one of Havana's favorite sons, who will share a wealth of son knowledge with us!

💃 Focusing on the connection and elegance of son, this class will teach an understanding of the rhythm and movements through partnerwork, focusing on technique and musicality. We'll begin solo though, to encourage development of fluidity and timing in our movement. The focus will be not only on understanding the rhythm, but on leading and following that can actually be enjoyed through social dancing :)

🗽 WHERE: Ripley-Grier, **305 38th St. Studio 302** (NOT the usual building, this is RG's OTHER studio)

💰 HOW MUCH:

$20 for 1 hour classes
$5 discount for multiple classes in the same night
