ABOUT THE CONVERSATION
Spokane’s Officer-Involved Fatality Crisis Ranked 4th in the Nation
Join us for a powerful community event featuring guest panelists
including: • Law enforcement leadership • Impacted families.

Event Purpose: To foster an open and honest dialogue about the current state of the Spokane community–police relationship. We aim to spark a collaborative process among all parties and stakeholders to: Reimagine Public Safety in Spokane.

Why This Matters: Hosted by the Spokane Human Rights Commission (SHRC), this event is part of our “Courageous Conversation” series. Our goal is to deepen the community’s understanding of: • Police Use of Force • Use-of-Force Fatalities • The human impact behind the statistics.

Event Guidelines – The "3 From the Heart": 1.Listen from the Heart. 2. Approach all voices with openness and without judgment. 3.Speak from the Heart. 4. Share your truth with honesty, care, and respect. 5.Empathize from the Heart. 6. Let compassion guide us — not ego — in these vital
conversations.

Together, let’s create a space where every voice is heard — and where healing, understanding, and transformation begin.
