Fourth (Patriotic) Degree Exemplification
Msgr Arthur J. Luckey Assembly 0288
An exemplification of the Patriotic Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus is scheduled for Saturday July 19, 2025, in Manhattan, Kansas. It will be hosted by the Msgr Arthur J. Luckey Assembly 0288 at St. Thomas More Church, 2929 Kimbal Ave, Manhattan Kansas.
The schedule of activities for the day is as follows:
12:00 pm Candidates and Sir Knights assemble in the Utopia Hall, St. Thomas More Church
1:00 pm Lineup of Candidates
1:30 pm Exemplification of the Degree
4:00 pm Rosary in the Church
4:30 pm Mass
5:30 pm A social will be held in the Utopia Hall immediately following Mass.
6:00 pm Banquet in the Utopia Hall
Applications: A Form 4 (which can be the electronic version) must be completed and properly signed by the applicant’s proposer, Financial Secretary, Faithful Navigator, the Faithful Comptroller and submitted with fees by July 1, 2025. Checks should be made payable to Msgr Arthur J. Luckey Assembly 0288. Mail completed Registration Form to Faithful Comptroller Larry Brockson, 2704 Candlewood Drive, Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
Responsibilities: Assembly Faithful Navigators and Comptrollers are responsible for seeing that all forms are completed in their entirety and accompanied by the appropriate fees. The Exemplification fee is $90 which provides each candidate with a 4th Degree Lapel Pin and one banquet ticket. Additional fees for additional Banquet tickets are on the registration form. Prepaid tickets for all events will be available to Candidates, Sir Knights, Ladies and Guests at the time of registration check in. The deadline to register for Banquet/additional Banquet tickets is July 1, 2025.
Eligibility: Third Degree members in good standing are eligible to join the Fourth/Patriotic Degree. There is no waiting period between degrees.
Dress: Sir Knights shall wear the Uniform of the Fourth Degree, or a dark suit is also acceptable. Candidates should wear the uniform of the Fourth Degree or a dark suit. Any member of the Armed Forces may wear his military dress uniform. Ladies' attire for the banquet should be a cocktail dress, semi-formal dress or church attire.
