Felting Our Future at The Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Walk

We’re creating a new home for the Tulipán Foundation at 1065 Madison Avenue, opening in late 2026. To mark this transformation, we’re inviting the community to help craft a traditional felt panel that will become part of a handcrafted Hungarian yurt—reimagined as an immersive, artistic centerpiece within the building.

Join us on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the Madison Avenue Spring Gallery Walk. Learn felt-making techniques from Hungarian artisans Mihály Vetró and Anikó Árvai and contribute to a lasting piece of the Foundation’s future.

This family-friendly, drop-in event is presented in partnership with the Nádudvar Folk Handicrafts Vocational School. All ages are welcome, no experience is needed, and tea and homemade snacks will be served throughout the day. Help create a gathering space rooted in cultural tradition, storytelling, and community.
