About the event

Artelibre in Atlantic Gallery
Tuesday, July 15 – Saturday, August 2, 2025

Opening Reception: July 17, 6 – 8 PM

Artelibre: More than a Quarter of a Century Giving Voice to Realist Art

In 1999, Galería Artelibre was born with a clear and passionate mission: to champion the value of contemporary realist art and restore it to its rightful place within the international art scene. This project, driven by the vision and dedication of its founder, José Enrique González, has since become a reference platform for artists around the world who have committed themselves to a craft-based, rigorous, authentic, and profoundly human form of artistic expression.

Now, 25 years later, we celebrate a journey marked by perseverance, excellence, and the tireless promotion of figurative art. And we do so with a very special exhibition that brings a grand close to our commemorative program: New York, the city that never sleeps, and where art is always alive and in motion, hosts this important milestone. A city where culture is a universal language.

The exhibition, which will be held from July 15 to August 2, 2025 at the renowned Atlantic Gallery, brings together 120 small-format works (8×8″) created by artists from all over the world. This is a collective, diverse, and passionate display, committed to quality, emotion, and technique — one that celebrates creativity in its purest form: honest, direct, and deeply moving.

Among the featured artists are distinguished names such as Allan Gorman (USA), Chris Klein (Canada), Aurelio Rodríguez (Spain), Christophe Vacher (USA, two-time Emmy Award winner), Francesco Capello (Italy), Jan Ander Nelson (USA), Luis Royo (Spain), Mark Tennant (USA), and the gallery director himself, José Enrique González, among many others. Each of them brings a unique artistic richness that elevates this exhibition to an exceptional level.

The official opening will take place on July 17, 6 – 8 PM, at Atlantic Gallery, and is open to all art lovers — to all those who value talent, discipline, and artistic expression in its most essential and profound form.

Following its time in New York, the exhibition will travel to Zaragoza and Madrid (Spain), thus concluding a year-long cycle of commemorative events hosted in various cities and venues.

Because we believe in art with soul.
Because we believe in the transformative power of beauty.
All for love, all for art.
