About the event

K-State Garden Hour: Climate Resilient Gardens
Gardening in a changing climate can be difficult, but there are many small steps that can be taken to combat these challenges. Learn what you can do by joining us on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 from Noon to 1pm for our K-State Garden Hour webinar on “Climate Resilient Gardens”. Pam Paulsen, Reno County Horticulture Agent, will share practical methods to grow gardens that are resilient to the tough growing conditions of Kansas. Learn about how native and adapted plants, soil improvement, efficient use of water and nutrients, and attracting beneficial insects can all be methods utilized to combat environmental extremes in the landscape.
