Whether you're a skating pro or stepping onto the ice for the first time, Skating in Mandurah is the must-do winter activity this July. Enjoy daily sessions, themed events, sensory-friendly times, and more in a fun, inclusive environment.
About the Event
This July, the Eastern Foreshore transforms into a winter wonderland with the return of Skating in Mandurah. Open daily from 9am during the school holidays, this iconic ice rink invites skaters of all ages and skill levels to lace up and hit the ice. Whether you're a seasoned skater or stepping on the rink for the first time, there's something here for everyone.
The rink is wheelchair accessible and features ‘Kanga Skate Aids’ to help young children or beginners find their feet and build confidence. Sessions run for 45 minutes and start every hour, on the hour. We recommend arriving 20 minutes early to check in, fit your skates, and get ready to glide. Don’t forget to bring your own socks – or grab a pair on-site if you forget!
Skating in Mandurah has been designed with everyone in mind. Kanga Skating Aids are available to help little ones – or beginners of any age – find their balance and build confidence on the ice. The rink is wheelchair accessible, making it an inclusive experience for all. For those seeking a calmer environment, sensory-friendly sessions with capped capacity are held on select mornings. On Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy extended skating with our night Time unlimited skate sessions, while happy hour skates during weekday evenings offer discounted adult entry – perfect for some affordable winter fun.

Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult on the ice, with an adult ticket purchased.

Session types
We’ve created a variety of session options to suit different needs and preferences, so everyone can enjoy their time on the ice:
Sensory and wheelchair-friendly sessions:
Held at 9:00am on select Mondays and Tuesdays (8, 9, 14, and 15 July), these sessions offer a quieter, more accessible skating experience. Attendance is capped at 70 to ensure a calm and spacious environment.
Night time unlimited skate:
On Fridays and Saturdays (4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 July), enjoy two full hours of skating from 6:00pm–8:00pm for the price of a single session ticket. Perfect for families or groups wanting extra time on the ice.
Happy hour skates:
Take advantage of $15 adult tickets at 5:00pm sessions every Monday to Thursday (7–10 & 14–17 July). All other ticket types remain standard price. Great value for a post-work skate!
