EVERY Wednesday we meet at the Mandeville trailhead for a run OR walk. Kiddos and strollers are welcome too, of course!
We start promptly at 6:15 after announcements and a picture! Please bring water to hydrate, bring a friend and have fun! Afterwards, we go somewhere for a snack & great conversation.
There is a: 1, 2, 2.4 and 3 mile route. It is the same every week for consistency & safety. Never run alone.
🏃♀️ ROUTES 🏃♂️
1 mile: from the trailhead, head towards the fire station, turn around at the bridge and head back to the trailhead. The end!
2 miles: from the trailhead, head towards the fire station, turn around at Colbert street and head back to the trailhead. The end!
2miles(aka to “Helen back”) form the trailhead run towards Jackson street and take a right on Jackson. Run towards the lake until you get to the yacht club where you will find Helen, our ice chest. Turn around and reverse the route back to the trailhead.
2.4 miles (aka “The Paul”): from the trailhead, head towards the fire station, right on Jackson to the lake. Right on the lake. Right on Girod back to the trailhead. The end!
3 miles:
from the trailhead, head towards the fire station, turn right on Jackson. Once you reach the lake, go ACROSS THE STREET and turn right after you pass up and go around the the fenced in playground to stay on the sidewalk along the water. Continue on the sidewalk along the water until you pass pats rest awhile. Keep going for another block to coffee street( you won’t be able to see the street sign from the lake but one ADDITIONAL block past Carroll/ when you pass up pats.)
Turn around. Continue on the sidewalk/path to girod street and take a left. The end!
