Join Sining Etniko for the second event in our new cultural series, Shared Tables, Shared Stories, as we celebrate the rich heritage of cultures around the world through food, storytelling, and community.
October is Filipino-American History Month.
In celebration, this event highlights Filipino traditional dishes, personal stories, and cultural insights that showcase the heart of Filipino cuisine rooted in history, "kapwa", and hospitality.
What to expect:
🍲 A tasting of beloved Filipino dishes (adobo, lumpia, pancit etc.)
🗣️ Story-sharing about food traditions and regional dishes
🤝 Conversation and connection around the table
A performance of Filipino folk dance
In partnership with the Mandan Morton Public Library, the event is free and open to public. Free-will donation is welcome and appreciated. Donations support our artists and creatives.
