MMPL has certified agents who can help you complete all the required paperwork needed to obtain your U.S. Passport.

Whether it's your first passport, you need to renew your passport, you need an official photo for your passport, or you have questions about documents, fees, wait times, and more.

MMPL offers passport assistance to ANYONE (you don't have to have an account with MMPL). 

Typically, passport services are provided by-appointment-only on Mondays and Thursdays; however, the second Saturday of each month has several hours available for passport assistance WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
?Three agents will be available to process applications. 
?Be aware there may be some waiting time.
?Complete applications in advance by getting forms from the library or going online to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html

WHAT TO BRING:
?State-issued certified birth certificate
?Passport (if you have one)
?Driver's license or State issued ID

CURRENT PROCESSING TIMES:
?Regular Passports: 8 weeks*
?Expedited Passports: 3 weeks* (this is an additional $60 for each person)

*Note: these times are approximate, as received by the US Department of State.

?There will be TWO Fees to Pay:

?The US Dept. of State only accepts personal checks, money orders or cashier's check.
- Adult (16 and above): book--$130; card--$30; both--$160
- Kids (15 and under):   book--$100; card--$15; both--$115

?MMPL accepts checks, cash or credit/debit cards 
- Processing fee: $35 per person
- Photo fee: $15 per person
