WUT/ Precious Metals / Freedom Screech
WUT are three friends from Vancouver (Kaity, Tracey and Lauren) who have been crafting their own special blend of jangle pop, cuddle-core and twee, making a local name for themselves with their joyfully heartfelt live performances.
Their latest record Mingling with the Thorns is a collection of carefully crafted pop songs that reflects the bands mutual love for c86 jangle pop and early flying nun bands, bringing to mind bands like Brilliant Colors, the Raincoats and a nod to 90's Riot Grrrl bands.
