Urban Sketching with Watercolours

Join us for an exciting Urban Sketching with Watercolours meetup. Get ready to explore the cityscape with your sketchbook and watercolours in hand. Unleash your creativity and capture the vibrant energy of urban life on paper. All skill levels are welcome. Limited spots available, so secure your place now!

Please bring the following: 1. Pencils - HB or lighter 2. Eraser 3. Watercolour paper (recommend 300gsm) or a watercolour journal book. Cold or Hot press is fine. 4. Two jars for water (one for washing the brush, one for painting with clear water) 5. Cloth or kitchen towels 6. Big round brush (size 16) and a smaller one (size 10) 7. Watercolour paints (it could be 8 basic colours) 8. (Optional) A camp chair/ stool. Not sure what type of watercolour paint and paper to bring? Watercolour paint can be the pans (dry paint in a set) or the tubes. Both are fine and we will be exploring both in the lesson. Don't spend too much if you are new to watercolour. Your local art store will have some beginner paints. Paper - Cold or Hot press 300gsm is ideal. But you can work with 200gsm is fine. It also doesn't have to be 100% cotton to start with. Bring a few sheets as we will be experimenting with colour and then attempting a painting.
