THE CARLTON CLUB present BROSTER & WEST / RAZOR HOLLER

Known to many as front-man of Manchester’s legendary MAN FROM DELMONTE, banjo-slinging troubadour, Mike West, joins forces with Canadian songwriter, Nick Broster, for an evening of mandolins, guitars, banjo and song.

Mike has recorded with hundreds of americana, folk and bluegrass artists. He now runs Our Lady Studio in Borth, Wales and tells stories too strange not to be true. Nick plays with Toronto based rock-jam band, Gravy Jones, and sings irresistibly melodic music. Together these songwriters share a love of soulful country and bluegrass.

They recorded their self-titled debut album last summer and will be trading songs / backing each other up on various road-worn acoustic instruments.


Support comes from RAZOR HOLLER: Raisin' a holler in bar-rooms and ballrooms, taking influence from Rock'n'roll in all its glorious forms with more than a pinch of country twang ... like they stumbled into Roberts looking for CBGBs and never left.
