Following on from our recent event ‘Empowering Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs’, we invite you to come together to connect, share and socialise. A free and informal event providing an opportunity for you to find out more about the work of the Manchester Social Economy Alliance and partner organisations, and to continue to develop relationships with peers.
Eligibility: This session is for neurodivergent entrepreneurs, start-up founders, mentors, business support organisations, inclusivity advocates and neurotypical entrepreneurs who have an interest in connecting with peers.
The Manchester Social Economy Alliance is a group of organisations in Manchester from the social economy. We work to foster collaboration among social economy organisations and leaders in Manchester, promoting shared objectives and sharing resources to promote a more social economy.
Manchester Social Entrepreneurs is on a mission to make purpose-led businesses the norm by inspiring, enabling and educating people on Social Entrepreneurship. We are part of the Manchester Social Economy Alliance, a group of organisations in Manchester supporting and growing the social economy.
Yellow Beacon CIC is a mental health professional and lived-experience led organisation offering trauma-informed mindfulness services across Greater Manchester. We support people to cultivate nervous system regulation tools for greater mental and emotional wellbeing with a focus on underserved communities.

The St. Thomas Building has is situated on Ardwick Green. The entrance from Ardwick Green North provides step-free access. The entrance from Nivin Street has two steps.Â
The meeting rooms are located on the ground floor and provide step-free access. There is a disabled access toilet and a gender neutral/open access toilet available.Â
There are two non-enforceable disabled parking bays on Ardwick Green North outside the venue. On street parking is also available around the centre.Â

Josephine McMeeking (she/her) is a policy and influence worker at MACC, who works to support an inclusive social economy in Manchester. This role involves convening the Manchester Social Economy Alliance and assisting VCSE organisations in implementing the real living wage.Â
George Konstatakopolous (he/him) as over 10 years of experience in innovation management, and has driven impactful projects across the private and social enterprise sectors. He founded and now leads Manchester Social Entrepreneurs - a community of over 1,500 members supporting social impact initiatives.Â
Kirsty Galloway (she/her) is a mental health professional with 10 years’ experience working in the charity sector in Greater Manchester at senior management level. She is the founder of Yellow Beacon CIC and currently navigating her own way through the entrepreneurial journey as a neurodivergent CEO.Â
