Stop Making Sense

On 19th October 1984 Talking Heads and Jonathan Demme released the greatest concert movie of all time.
On Saturday 31st May 2025 Slippery People will recreate ‘Stop Making Sense’ at Gorilla in the city of Manchester.
The band of 10 members will play all of the Talking Heads songs featured in the film. From ‘Psycho Killer’ to ‘Burning Down The House’ to ‘Crosseyed And Painless’ and everything in between.
They have a tape they’d like to play for you. And everyone is getting involved.
