Science Hour!

Veteran educator, Jason Pergament, Founder of Onward Rising and current 4-6 Math/Science Teacher at Mountain School at Winhall, will be offering monthly science hours at the Manchester Community Library. Jason plans to run sessions geared towards students in Grades 3-7 (8-14 years old) and will focus on a different scientific concept each month. These Science Hours will be held on the 4th Saturday of Each Month from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In the first session, Jason will create interactive demonstrations to help students in attendance understand why seasons and phases of the moon change in a predictable way. Other science demonstrations will cover magnets, pulleys, and chemical reactions.
