Open Day of Protest Against Vivisection - The University of Manchester

We are hosting an anti-vivisection protest against The University of Manchester, outside the Stopford Building on their Open Day on Saturday 11th October 2025 1:30pm to 4pm.

Placards, leaflets and banners will be provided. Please feel free to bring your own. All welcome!

Stand with us for the animals involved in 81,252 procedures. Murdered for “science” every year in the Manchester University laboratories.

It's time to tell the Government that enough is enough and we demand an end to Vivisection !!

This event is to highlight the experiments taking place at The University of Manchester and what you can do to help us stop the suffering. 🐁🐁🐀🐑🦎🐸

We will stand outside the Stopford Building in solidarity for the Animals being exploited behind closed doors.
Nearest train station is Oxford Rd.

NB….In the event of heavy rain or strong wind we will set up across the road from the Stopford Building under cover.
