About the event

Methodist New Connexional Year Service and celebration of being recognised as a Church of Sanctuary
This year’s service for the New Methodist Connexional Year takes place at Central Hall MCR on Tuesday 2nd September 2025. The service will begin at 11am, and will be followed by lunch.

We will welcome the President and Vice-President of the Methodist Conference to Manchester, alongside Civic, Ecumenical, and Interfaith guests. As part of this year’s service we will also be celebrating the recognition of Central Hall MCR as a Church of Sanctuary.
