Gallery Opening featuring works by The Shutterbugs

The Gallery at Equinox Village is excited to present an exhibit of works by The Shutterbugs. A Gallery Opening with the artists, live music performed by Mark LaChac, appetizers and refreshments will be held Thursday, September 18 from 5 – 6 p.m. The Gallery Opening is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display until November 3, 2025. The Gallery is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is free to visit.

The Shutterbug Club was formed in 2013 by members Jon Davis and Kimberly Burke. Having the desire to learn all they could about photography, they relied on Jon's knowledge and experience in the field. Wanting different perspectives, experience and the camaraderie, Jon invited other well-versed photographers in the area to join them. During the next few months, they gathered a group that was interested in further pursuing the nuances and fundamentals of photography. Over the course of several years, they've enjoyed field trips, workshops and eventually gallery exhibits of their work in many Southern Vermont venues. The knowledge they gained through this group set them up to expand on their own personal style and grow their passion as photographers. Though the club has been mostly retired in recent years, and many have developed their artistic approach independently, they remain "The Shutterbugs".

We are pleased to come back as a club and show you, our work. Vermont and the surrounding areas have a special beauty and it's a photographer's playground. We hope you enjoy seeing that beauty through our eyes and lenses.
