Join me for a relaxed photowalk, setting off from the fantstic brand new Campfield Campus in Manchester to explore the surrounding streets.
Photowalks are a wonderful way of engaging with your surroundings, giving you permission to slow down and notice the amazing scenes and details that surround us in the city. Once you really begin to observe, the city rewards you with rich layers of history and architecture, and strange moments that you otherwise pass by without noticing.
So, whether you’re a total beginner, or someone with a little more experience, come along and enjoy a gentle photographic stroll around a historic district of Manchester. You can bring any device – smartphone, film camera or DSLR – or even nothing at all if you simply want to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the walk. I’ll be on hand to offer tips and point out compositions and other photo opportunities.
At the end of the walk we’ll return to Campfield for a cuppa, and to do some quick processing using a phone app that I use.
Tickets are limited to keep the group small, as it’s better like that!
There will be two sessions, morning and afternoon.
