Llangollen History Trail
Distance: ~6 miles (9.5 km)
Duration: ~2½–3 hours
Difficulty: Moderate—some steep sections and stiles
This self-guided circular walk takes you from Llangollen up through the Dee Valley, past Horseshoe Falls, Valle Crucis Abbey, and up to Castell Dinas Brân with stunning views throughout. You can extend the walk to include the white limestone Eglwyseg Escarpment or even link it with Offa’s Dyke Path for a longer adventure.
