Knowing how to groom the heads to the breed standard is super important for a pet groomer. In the everyday pet grooming world, we often modify breed standard grooming to a shorter length. It is the face that is normally requested to get cut to the breed standard . It is the head that gives the first impression and distinguishes one breed from another. In this seminar you’ll learn how to groom two different heads of two different breeds. Guzal will demonstrate her grooming techniques on the Kerry Blue Terrier head or a Lakeland Terrier and compare it to other brick-shaped faces like a Schnauzer or Airedale Terrier. She will also demonstrate how to create a perfect round head on a Shih Tzu and will compare it with a Bichon Frise.
