Seed to Centerpiece Workshop

Join us for a dreamy summer evening brimming with blooms, creativity, and connection.

Set in Meg’s backyard garden—bursting with midsummer color—you’ll be guided through the full Seed to Centerpiece experience, co-taught by Alanna Messner-Scholl, founder of Waverly Flower Co., and Morgan Feher, their Senior Designer and Creative Lead.

This hands-on workshop will teach a sustainable, floral foam-free method of creating a lush compote bowl centerpiece (a $200+ value!). Along the way, you’ll gain insight into garden-inspired floral design principles, simple color theory, and seasonally relevant tips for growing a cut flower garden.

We’ll share what to plant in the late summer months—think perennials and fall-planted bulbs—that will keep your garden blooming well into September and October. Each guest will also receive cut flower seeds harvested from the Waverly garden, along with detailed growing notes for many of the varieties featured in the workshop.

Enjoy lite bites, a seasonal cocktail, and our signature flavored waters as you relax and take in the beauty of the garden around you. With flowers in hand and inspiration blooming all around, this is an evening designed to fill your cup—and your vase.
