Malvern Welcomes Spring with The Perennial Party on May 17

Malvern residents are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring at the Perennial Party on May 17 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Burke Community Park. Hosted by the Malvern Parks and Recreation Committee, the event promises an afternoon of music, nature, and community connection.

Attendees can bring a chair or blanket and relax while enjoying performances by a local choir and a guitarist. Guests will also have the opportunity to sign Mayor Uzman’s Monarch Pledge, receive free seeds, and—if they bring the coupon from the Borough’s Spring Newsletter—take home a free perennial plant.

In addition to live music, visitors can learn from the Chester County Beekeepers and a Master Gardener, gaining valuable insights into pollinators and sustainable gardening. Growing Roots Partners will also be in attendance, offering resources for those interested in the Farmers' Market

Snacks and light refreshments will be provided. Don’t miss this chance to welcome the season with neighbors, music, and a celebration of nature!

The Malvern History Center will be open from 2-4PM! Stop by on your way to the park !
