Sweden Contact Improvisation Fest

We invite you who share our commitment and fascination for Contact Improvisation, as a movement practice, somatic research and art form.


Together we wish to create space to research questions and answers to refine and deepen our practice and perception of C.I.

During six days, we host a frame of intensives, afternoon classes, labs, underscore, silent jam, focus jams, gaga morning classes, meditations and more. We invite international and local dancers and teachers with backgrounds in C.I, contemporary dance, improvisation, martial arts and performance to share your collective knowledge.


The Festival will take place 10 - 15 of July 2025 at Solvikskolan, a Waldorf School and Anthroposophic Center in Ytterjärna, Sweden, 50km south of Stockholm near the sea. We will dance in beautiful unique studios and be surrounded by Swedish idyllic summer surroundings.
