Salsa workshop - New York style

Join us for two exciting hours of Salsa on 2 - the New York style of Salsa. This workshop will focus on social dancing skills - increase your musicality, technique, connection and confidence on the social dance floor!

Level:
Intermediate - This workshop is suited for dancers who know the Salsa fundamentals. You don’t have to be an experienced Salsa on 2 dancer to participate. If you have any questions regarding the level - contact us!

What to expect:
• 1 hour footwork/shines – Sharpen your musical understanding, timing, body movement and personal expression. In this class we dance solo, practicing control and awareness before sharing space with a partner in the next class.�

• 1 hour partnerwork – Improve your connection, lead/follow technique, body awareness, and smooth transitions. In this class we’ll focus on how to bring more comfort and fluidity when social dancing. You’ll be learning fun variations and patterns, and how to lead and follow them, that you can easily use on the dance floor.
