HOW? It’s free to participate. The practices are held in english. The choir is connected to Studieförbundet Bilda
Do you identify as queer in some way?WELCOME
Are you a complete beginner? WELCOME
Are you experienced and sing whenever you get the chance? WELCOME
Are you on hormones or voice train and have an awesome new voice you want to explore in a choir context? WELCOME
Do you like singing just a little bit but want to be a part of a queer safe space in Malmö? WELCOME
Queerkören sings songs by queer artists and the arrangements are shaped after the choirs’ needs and preferences. The choir is a space for exploration and fun, we evolve and build community together! The members of the choir help out with fixing fika for the practices, preparations before concerts and making sure the vibe is cosy and welcoming for everyone.
The teaching of the songs will be done by ear so no need to be able to read sheet music.
