Hie Kim is a teacher trainer, yoga festival teacher, and organizer, as well as pro-teacher of the modern Inside Flow Yoga style. As one of the first teachers of the legendary Inside Yoga Studio, Hie often takes on the role of a compassionate instructor, bridging challenging moments with a touch of humor. On 50 weekends a year, Hie teaches hundreds of yoga teachers and is well-known in German-speaking Europe and parts of Asia. He is the author of a poetry collection, the German book-series "Das Yogalehrer Buch" (The Yoga Teacher Book), and annually hosts the yunion Yoga Festival in the Gastein valley. In addition, Hie Kim teaches numerous video series on the premium online yoga platform Inside Online. His yoga teaching is strongly student-centered. He transfers this reactive teaching style to other teachers in his 35-hour training "The Art of Teaching." With his didactic ability and his empathetic, humorous character, he succeeds in physically, mentally, and emotionally engaging his yoga students and inspiring them with well-thought-out classes. His self-written poems in Shavasana are particularly popular. Outside of teaching, Hie Kim enjoys spending time in the kitchen or cuddling with his two cats, Yani and Yumi.
Handstand Architecture
Never done a handstand before? You have found the perfect opportunity to show yourself what’s in you. Everyone has the potential to achieve great things and everyone has easily the potential to practice handstands. In a very logical and structured way, will we systematically build up handstands and other variations. This Workshop is all about technique, courage and communication and partnerwork. And don’t worry, you will have all the time you need, to lift your feet off your mat.
This workshop is for everyone and it will mostly contain partnerwork. There is no excercise where I leave you at the wall to do
