Black Healing in Scorched Landscapes is a continuation of Black Female Form—an ongoing artistic project by Sarah Nakiito. The project explores minority stress and decolonial methods of recovery through spaces for rest, film, and installations.
Through a series of three interventions, the project highlights Black and brown womxn, examining the intersection of Black womxn’s corporeality, mental health, and collective healing through art, dialogue, and practice.
Every other Saturday in May, a series of separatist interventions will take place in Malmö for Black and brown womxn and non-binary people in collaboration with Black Archives Sweden
and Malmö Konsthall.
This is the final event and it will be hosted by the Norwegian organisation Edges & Drinks, which in the lecture "The Art of Holding Space", will present their methods for creating inclusive spaces and organising their annual events in Oslo.

Black Female Form: Svart läkning i brända landskap
Svart läkning i brända landskap är en fortsättning på Black Female Form – ett pågående konstnärligt projekt av Sarah Nakiito. Projektet undersöker minoritetsstress och dekoloniserande metoder för återhämtning genom vilorum, film och installationer.
Genom en serie av tre interventioner lyfter projektet fram svarta och bruna kvinnor, transpersoner och icke-binära. Svart läkning i brända landskap utforskar relationen mellan svart kvinnlig kroppslighet, psykisk hälsa och kollektivt helande genom konst, samtal och praktik.
Varannan lördag i maj arrangeras en serie separatistiska interventioner i Malmö för svarta och bruna kvinnor, transpersoner och icke-binära, i samarbete med Black Archives Sweden och Malmö Konsthall.
Detta är det sista evenemanget och hålls av den norska organisationen Edges & Drinks, som i föreläsningen "The Art of Holding Space" berättar om sina metoder för att skapa inkluderande rum och organisera sina årliga evenemang i Oslo.
