SONJA BAHLENBERG's "HEARING TEST"
Composition for marimba and electronics.
Sonja Bahlenberg is a Malmö-based percussionist and composer focusing on marimba and electronics, currently working on a music project supported by the Swedish Arts Grants Committee. "Hearing Test" is performed on her rosewood marimba, which she has owned since 2019. In an experimental ambient style, the project explores the harmony between sine waves and marimba, based on a personal experience in a hearing test room at an audiologist’s Clinic.
