We are riding Encinal. This will be a Greenie 2 plus ride and UP.
We will stop at the saddle and share Liz stories.
This is about 19 miles round trip and about 2500 ft of climbing.
Lots more if extra credit is wanted.
Hope to see you all there! Liz had an enormous impact to our community.
This is a CO-ED Ride. Waivers are required to join the ride. If a waiver is not signed, you will not be able to ride with GGR or CORBA.
Requirements
o Waiver signed:

o Bike helmets and proper biking shoes are required on all rides. No part of a person’s foot should be exposed. Helmets must be secured onto one’s head by attaching the strap provided in every helmet.

We would like to bring to your attention an important requirement for all riders participating in this upcoming event. It is mandatory for each participant to sign a waiver prior to their involvement in any GGR ride or events.
Please note that the waiver will remain valid for a period of one year, covering your participation in all GGR rides and events within that timeframe. This measure has been implemented to streamline the administrative process and provide convenience for our participants.
To facilitate the signing of the waiver, you will need a working camera and microphone on your computer. These tools will be used to capture the necessary documentation electronically.
In the case you are unable to use a camera and microphone, we have made provisions to allow participants to complete the waiver electronically using the volunteer's APP on their phone. This will
ensure a seamless and efficient waiver completion process.
We emphasize the importance of adhering to this requirement, as the waiver serves as a legal document safeguarding both the participants and the organizers. By signing the waiver, you acknowledge and assume any associated risks and release GGR from any liability.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in complying with this necessary procedure. If you have any further inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to a successful and enjoyable event.
Attention EBike Riders!
The permissibility of Class 1 ebikes on mountain bike trails can vary depending on the specific trail and the regulations set by the land managers. It is crucial for every ebike rider to be fully aware of the ebike policy applicable to the ride they intend to join.
If you choose to ride your ebike in an area where it is not permitted, please be informed that you will be solely responsible for any consequences that may arise. GGR, cannot be affiliated with riders who do not adhere to the land managers' policies.
See below for the 3 classes of ebikes.
1. Class 1 Ebikes: These ebikes are equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the
rider is pedaling, and the assistance stops once the bike reaches a speed of 20 miles per hour
(32 kilometers per hour). Class 1 ebikes do not have a throttle.
2. Class 2 Ebikes: These ebikes are also equipped with a motor that provides assistance when the
rider pedals, but they also have a throttle that can be used to propel the bike without pedaling.
Like Class 1 ebikes, the motor assistance stops once the bike reaches a speed of 20 miles per
hour (32 kilometers per hour).
3. Class 3 Ebikes: Similar to Class 1 ebikes, Class 3 ebikes provide assistance only when the rider is
pedaling. However, the motor assistance on Class 3 ebikes continues until the bike reaches a
speed of 28 miles per hour (45 kilometers per hour). These ebikes do not have a throttle
