About the event

Celebrate Trees! Let's plant and learn together!

Chris Rosa, Malden's Tree Warden, will talk about the city's initiatives with tree selection and planting. On May 10th, participants will plant trees of Bell Rock Cemetery's time period. Kate Kennon of Offshoots Landscape Architecture will talk about trees and the importance for climate resiliency at the Malden River Works Waterfront Park. The landscape plan includes planting over 200 trees and native plants in addition to tree preservation.
