Poetry Readings from Three Acclaimed Voices
Enjoy readings from Maggie Brookes-Butt, including selections from Wish – New and Selected Poems (Greenwich Exchange, 2025), which weaves together themes of women’s strength, love for our planet, and the bittersweet joys of grandmotherhood.
Nancy Charley and Martyn Crucefix will also share from their powerful and thought-provoking collections.
Open Mic – Your Turn to Shine
Bring a poem (your own or a favourite), song, or spoken-word piece—and join our welcoming open mic. First-timers are warmly encouraged! Participants will have 3–4 minutes to share—our host will coordinate on the night.

Enjoy a friendly, inclusive atmosphere as we celebrate poetry’s ability to bring people together. Applaud, reflect, and share in an evening of heartfelt expression.
