Vedic chanting is one of the oldest ways that yoga has been passed down – originally not through books, but through sound. It’s simple, rhythmic, and surprisingly calming. You don’t need to be “good at Sanskrit” or have a perfect voice. All you need is a willingness to listen, repeat, and let the sound settle in. Many people find it’s like meditation in motion – the words carry you, and your mind starts to quieten.
No experience needed — just bring your voice and curiosity.

Vedic chanting is for anyone who loves yoga and wants to explore its roots in sound. You don’t need to be a singer, or have studied Sanskrit before. Beginners are very welcome in Level I, where we take things step by step.
Chanting can support teachers, practitioners, and complete newcomers alike — it’s a practice that steadies the mind, opens the breath, and connects you to the living tradition of yoga.
What people say …
“I was a little unsure at first – I thought chanting meant I’d have to ‘sing’ in Sanskrit! But the group is so welcoming, and it’s really just repeating sounds. The rhythm is calming, and after a while it feels like meditation. I always leave lighter, more centred, and surprised at how quickly the words start to flow”
