What we’ll cover
• Turning the iPhone on/off + restarting
• What the buttons do (power, volume, mute)
• Unlocking your phone (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Home Screen vs. Lock Screen
• Notifications: what they are + how to clear them
• Common icons (battery, Wi-Fi, signal)
• Basic gestures: tap, swipe, press & hold
• Opening/closing apps + getting back to the Home Screen
• Charging safely + what to do when random pop-ups appear
• Apple ID basics (why it matters and how to keep it safe)
• Apps: downloading, updating, deleting, folders, subscriptions
• Settings: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ringtone, brightness, Do Not Disturb
• Accessibility help: bigger text, bold text, zoom, magnifier, VoiceOver basics
What to bring
• Your iPhone (Fully charged)
• Your charging cord (if you have it)
• Reading glasses (if you use them)
• Apple ID email + password (written down and kept private)
