βTree of Us +1β is a collaborative textile art exhibition celebrating creativity, friendship, and the beauty of the world around us. Originally formed by three artists united by a love of trees, the group welcomed a fourth member, inspiring the playful β+1β in the title.
In this second exhibition together, the artists explore A Moment in Time, capturing the details and wonders of the natural and built environment through their cameras and translating them into intricate textile artworks. From the elegance of architecture to the vibrancy of landscapes, from subtle textures to bold patterns and colours, each piece reflects the artistsβ unique responses to what amazes them.
Using a variety of techniquesβhand stitching, fabric printing, painting, paper, tatting, and hand-dyed fabricsβthe artists challenge themselves to experiment, innovate, and support one another through regular meetings and shared work-in-progress discussions. The result is a dynamic, richly textured collection that celebrates collaboration, skill, and the joy of discovery.
Also on display are additional textile works from Through our Eyes series and other artworks from the artists.
Exhibition concludes on Friday 13 February at 4 pm.
