After a stunning performance with John Cooper Clarke last May, Mike Garry returns to Seamus Heaney HomePlace, this time joined by the acclaimed Cassia String Quartet.

Having played together for 10 years, Mike Garry and The Cassia String Quartet have carved a unique space in the music world. Their collaboration made waves with the UK Number One hit St. Anthony: An Ode to Anthony H. Wilson (a tribute to Factory Records’ legendary owner). They have worked alongside iconic artists such as New Order, Philip Glass, The Charlatans, Daughter, Orbital, and more, and released their debut studio album in 2024. Their fusion of spoken word and classical music has resulted in an innovative sound that’s unlike anything you’ve heard before. As Mike Joyce of The Smiths says, “No words can truly capture how special they are to experience live.”
