GNRC Assembly 2025 – A Meeting of LGBTQ+ Catholics in Madrid
From August 21 to 25, 2025, LGBTQ+ Catholics, their families, and allies will come together in Madrid for the 5th Assembly of the Global Network of Rainbow Catholics (GNRC)
The GNRC represents Catholic LGBTQ+ organizations from over 30 countries worldwide, reflecting a rich diversity of cultures and experiences within the Church; this assembly is a space to meet, share, and reflect on faith, identity, and community. The program includes plenary sessions, workshops, and cultural moments.
Some of our speakers:
Cristina Inogés a theologian and author known for her insightful perspectives on contemporary faith issues. Sr. María Luisa Berzosa, brings extensive experience in educational and pastoral work within diverse communities. James Alison, a Catholic priest and theologian, offers profound reflections on faith and sexuality. Renato Lings is recognized for his scholarly work on inclusive language in biblical texts.
The assembly will be held at Resa Colegio Mayor Miguel Antonio Caro, located in Madrid's Ciudad Universitaria district. This venue offers modern facilities, including leisure areas, providing a comfortable environment for reflection and community building.
