The Glema Mahr Center for the Arts invites prospective new volunteers to attend an information and training session at the Glema Center on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 6:00 pm.
Returning volunteers are welcome to attend this session, although attendance is not mandatory to remain on the call list for the new season.
The Glema Center’s 2025/26 Season, spanning from September to July, includes 22 ticketed performances, as well as School Days Matinees, choral festivals, band assessments, MCC Singers concerts, and other community events.
Volunteers typically serve as greeters, ticket takers, and ushers. Once the audience is seated and a performance has begun, volunteers sit in designated areas to enjoy the show. They are permitted—but not required—to attend every event of the season. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, or 16 and working alongside a guardian.
