ABOUT THE EVENT:
Social media platforms present an equal playing field for everyone with a message to share, there has to be a method to your posting madness. These platforms, while similar are not exactly the same. They all house a differenty audience with different expectations. Writing for Social Media will help you to better understand how to deliver your message in a way that meets those expectations.
In this workshop, you’ll:
- Gain insight into LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Understand the nuances of each platform's audience.
- Learn to tailor any message for either platform.
Who should attend: solopreneurs, small business owners, writers, speakers, authors, organizational leaders (particularly those interested in thought leadership).
ABOUT DWAYNIA (in her own words):
In 2016, after spending 11 years teaching English at a local university, I traded my grade book and dry erase markers for laptops and coffee shops. That was the start of Prose & Pens, a brand messaging and content writing service.
Since then, her work has been seen on Ulta and Amazon websites, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), POPSUGAR, and Good Morning America.
Outside of work, some of my favorite things include spending time with family & friends, books, LMN movies, red wine, and gift cards. I also get a kick out of laughing loudly at my own jokes.
I dream of running a half marathon someday. There is no existing evidence that this will actually happen.
