In earth-centered religious circles, this is the time of year when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead grows thin, and we can communicate with our lost loved ones and ancestors. Join us today for a walk with (optional) rituals to remember and honor our beloveds who have died.
Please let us know if you plan to attend - it helps us prepare. Email uurevlynch at gmail.com and mdwimagin at yahoo.com
What to Bring:
A. Your own coffee/tea/water and a snack (for yourself, or something to share).
B. A folding camp chair or blanket to sit on.
C. A journal for reflecting.
D. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes for walking on a uneven surfaces.
E. Note: Sometimes we have no access to restrooms at the labyrinth locations – so please take a “bio break” before you arrive.
Our usual labyrinth event process:
1. We gather at the labyrinth, welcome one another, and wait for the folks we know are coming to arrive.
2. We "circle up" and distribute labyrinth guidelines and other materials.
3. As we enter the labyrinth, we’ll allow space between people to ensure a smooth, spacious experience for everyone.
4. When folks come out of the labyrinth, they'll be encouraged to sit down and reflect quietly on their experience as we wait for everyone to finish.
5. Once everyone finishes walking, we circle up again to reflect together on the experience.
6. The event is usually between 90 minutes and two hours long.
