It Takes My Child to Raze a Village 13!

It Takes My Child to Raze a Village (ITMC) is a Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) event focused on learning about what people did in medieval times, but instead of exhibits in a museum where you can't touch, see, taste, and smell, you get to learn and do and touch and smell and taste! This event has been almost annual (Covid and some schedule conflicts notwithstanding) since 2008!

We have coaxed the new teenager to put their phone down and join us in a new location! We have some classes and activities specifically for teens (and up) in addition to things aimed at tweens, children and toddlers!

Look for your favorite ITMCTRAV Traditions – Smelly Science, The All-Ages A&S Challenge!, How to Fight With Your Child, Shoot the Messenger, The Duckling Race, The Plague Game, and more!

THE SITE IS BONE DRY - that means no alcohol is allowed on the premises. Additionally the use of drugs/tobacco products anywhere on the site is prohibited. You must leave site to smoke or vape or chew.

Registration Fees

Adult – $20

Adult Member – $10

Child Age 5-17 – $5

Child 4 and Under – Free

Family Cap (2 Adults and 3 or more children)- $55

Member Family Cap (2 Adult Members and 3 or more children)- $35
