Stories by the Sea: The Treasure and the Pearl

This week in our Stories by the Sea series, we turn to two of Jesus’ shortest yet most powerful parables—The Hidden Treasure and The Pearl of Great Price (Matthew 13:44–46). In just a few verses, Jesus asks a life-changing question:

The message is clear: God’s kingdom is worth more than anything else—and worthy of our full devotion. When we truly grasp its value, everything else fades in comparison.
